Shabbat with Shedletskys & Friends is a pop-up series bringing the warmth, noise, and intensity of the Friday night table to everyone.
Over two Friday nights at an East London spot, we’re inviting guests to break challah and share stories in a communal, family-style setting. This isn’t a stiff, formal dinner; it’s a chance to eat great food and meet even greater people.
The nights are built around the Friday night dinner as a weekly anchor—a time to congregate over delicious food. The evening is designed to encourage a genuine sense of belonging and community. It’s about the joy of excess and the connection found in the stories behind the ingredients.
With “brine in our blood” and four generations of East End history behind us—stretching from Sam Shedletsky’s 1923 butcher shop to our current fermentary—we’re bringing the soul of the Jewish home to the city.
